Founded in 1996 by the Treger Family
KD Auctions was founded in 1996 by Michael and Arlene Treger and remains family owned and operated today. Shannon Treger carries the firm into its second generation of family leadership. A licensed auctioneer, he works alongside the founders and a senior team whose combined experience spans virtually every industrial sector, holding to the standard his parents set: when a client calls, they reach someone who owns the outcome and follows through.
KD Auctions is the industrial auction and liquidation arm of the family business. It is owned by the same company that operates KD Machinery (kdmachinery.com), which buys and sells individual used machines directly, while KD Auctions manages full facility liquidations, plant closures, trustee and lender sales, and multi-seller auctions. Together they let a seller reach both the competitive auction market and the direct market. KD Auctions runs at kdauctions.com under its own name and phone line, distinct from KD Machinery.
